READERS! DO NOT LOSE THE ART OF SHARING

WHAT IS SHARING?

Sharing is an art of exchanging something legally to others and at the same time should see that the shared matter is useful and benefited in a right manner. Sharing could be in any form. It may be subject, object, articles, money, land, skills, thoughts, ideas, experiences and knowledge etc. Sharing is not a new system or culture adopted today, but it has a long history ever since the human’s existence on the earth.

SHARING IN OLDEN DAYS

In olden day’s people shared food, clothes, ornaments, pots, grains, warfare and skills required to use weapons etc in place of money. Further, it is a known fact that gradually the culture and community grew rapidly through money transaction and improved lot beyond human’s expectations. Now most of the things occur in digital technology and sharing became more popular in every nook and corner of the world. In fact, sharing information has drastically changed human’s life and his day to day activities. Today, social media actively participates and contributes its efforts in sharing and exchanging life style of people around the world. These include:

Sharing Information

THE MAIN SOURCE OF SHARING NETWORKS

All stated above are very useful and is contributing for communication in the entire world. Thus, sharing technology is improving mankind and also provides comfort to persons apart from his/her regular responsible work. In other terms Social Media Sharing is nothing but center for online communications Networks which is entirely dedicated to society and community only.

WHY DO PEOPLE SHARE AND MAKE COMMENTS?

To impress others

To share ideas and thoughts with others

To communicate and broadcast current and past activities

To improve business activities by enhancing his social network communication

To retain his status consistently

To become a part of the social community

To find out article, stories, photos etc., of his desired category

To make comments (provide his opinions) and also to maintain his existence in the media network

MOST PEOPLE INDULGE IN SHARING MORE COMMENTS THAN SEEKING THEM

It is sad, but true. Giving ideas, opinions or arguments is the most common way in which people try to persuade each other. Making comments is so much easier than seeking; consequently we get in to the habit of persuading that way. Unfortunately, it does not work too well. Of course, that could turn out to be good news for you, if you can build sharing habits on certain standards that may put you ahead on the field.

CERTAIN PEOPLE MAINLY FOCUS ON SPECIFIC AREAS AS PER THEIR NEEDS

In fact, this is not very surprising, since such people are seen as more empathetic and interested. What is perhaps much more surprising is that these people focus on few articles, blogs and literatures and hence are deprived of the real content. On the other hand Authors/bloggers focus in sharing such knowledge which benefit people in various ways and also ensure that their readers are able to find better solutions through their related photos, videos etc.. In simple terms, the main intention of the blogger is to provide unique and better ways to solve a problem comparatively.

ALWAYS SHARE RIGHT INFORMATION WITH RIGHT MAN

Sharing right information with right man is very much important since he tends to have interest in it. Since such persons are likely to provide their own feedbacks. For instance, a sport article may necessarily interest a sportsman but not a baker or a builder. Because a person always tends to gain more knowledge, information and also inspiration about his work area rather than a subject far related to his profession. The person might also then share his own opinions or feedback, ideally based on accurate measurement that tells the authors what’s working well, and where they may be going wrong.

FINDING OUT AUTHORS/BLOGGERS/WRITERS NEEDS IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF SHARING/COMMENTING

This is an important part indeed. Many useful articles or blogs are lost due to poor or unwanted comments which leave a bad impression at that stage. Readers must be very careful and thoughtful. Because it is not easy to understand the content and it requires practice and reading knowledge. The biggest difference found between good comments and bad comments in the social media networks studies was in the area of investigating. The good comments did a much better job of investigating authors’ needs.

Investigating is at the heart of the sharing network or process. If you can learn to do it well, then you have mastered the most important and most difficult skill of sharing and commenting. That’s why this sharing skill spends little bit more time and requires knowledge on developing sharing and commenting skills than any other social media network sharing.

KNOWLEDGE INCREASES BY SHARING BUT NOT BY SAVING

THE MAIN REASON FOR COMMENTING DURING SHARING IS TO UNCOVER AND DEVELOP AUTHORS/BLOGGERS ARTICLE OR CONTENT

The purpose of the investigating stage of a sharing and making comments is to uncover and develop author’s skill. It’s through response clear and strong that the author becomes ready to re-comment and making corrections if any and if required. As we saw, a weak reply or no reply means that the author or blogger will not be impressed when you try to convenience on comments or to obtain a comment back. A strong comment from authors or bloggers means that the author is interested in your comment and wants to hear about what you have got to share or comment.

THE SIGN THAT YOU HAVE MADE A COMMENT CORRECTLY AND SHRING GOOD STUFF IS THAT THE AUTHOR KNOWS WHO YOU ARE, KNOWS WHY YOU ARE THERE, AND AGREES THAT YOU SHOULD COMMENT AND SHARE

Know who you are and what field you represent. Of course, with authors or bloggers you have met before this is achieved almost automatically. But, author or writer doesn’t know who you are, the response or comments hardly likely to get off the ground. So, don’t assume, for example, that the author or blogger’s response has explained everything. Make absolutely certain of it by offering your name and address or e mail, and preferably, your location.

Know why you are there. If the author or writer reply back you and ask for a comment, obviously you don’t have to explain why you are there. But when you have initiated the comment, you should briefly explain the purpose of comments. Be careful not to make unwanted, disrespectful or useless comments during sharing; just make comments enough to interest the author or blogger and allow you to continue the comments.

Agree that you should comment. This is the real thing of whether you made comments perfectly and accurately. Your main objective is to get the authors response for you to begin your sharing and comment habits. If the author begins the comments back by inviting you to get comment back, then the sharing phase of the comment is already over and people moved in to the investigating stage.

WHY MANY PEOPLE HESITATE TO SHARE, LIKE, FOLLOW OR MAKE COMMENTS IN SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORKS?

Fear of losing confidential data:

It has been observed by many people that, people who read blogs, article, watch videos and other contents etc, is for their satisfaction. But, when the matter come to sharing, click on like button, follow the blogger and make comments, they just become silent. Because they are under the impression that by sharing or making comments, their confidential information will be leaked out. But remember, all social media networks manage and handle each and every individual account very carefully with secured system. They never reveal any information to anyone, moreover the system is arranged with latest technology and frequent software updates. Therefore, please share articles, blogs and help authors to develop his/her writing skill and also to help him/her to manage further invention. Your one motivated comment brings fruitful result in the community.

Non-readers

Such people are those who just read the title of the post and leave the page without any comments or sharing it. They trust only branded articles and share it to media to show their existence. They are just showcasing the number of articles to others by sharing as if they read everything and have gained knowledge from those contents. In fact they never read entire content and just try to widen their network among friends and family in the social media through that act. But I personally know that reading every article is never possible in a day or in a week. But people can try to read every post with proper planning according to his convenience and digest the content carefully. A good reader is one who once the reading is completed, obviously will be excited to share it and will also want to make comments out of curiosity and also expects to get the reply from the author. Now this type of comments lead to healthy developments and enable the author or blogger to build up his self confidence and other further improvements in his writing.

There are few bloggers who get impressed by the publicity of other authors and try to link with such authors by sending them their own links of blogs may or may not related to the author’s content. There are also possibilities that they do not fully read or understand the content of the author’s subject. This is proved to be a bad habit.

Physiological attitude

There are also few people who enjoy watching videos and reading articles but hesitate to share it to media networks. This is because their basic reason is to avoid family and friends, local society and community. Many such people may share contents as anonymous and try to get in touch with people from other countries. But they also take undue advantage of this opportunity. Because most of the times they share and make comments without even reading and watching the full video content. Many times, their comments irritate the authors and bloggers. Generally they indulge in making unnecessary comments which are never related to the post or article. Under such circumstances, the author is better to keep silent by not replying back.

A GOOD READER

A good reader is one who understands and respects the wisdom of the author, by sharing the content. This will lead to better understanding on the part of the readers and also enables the author to better himself. Also the authors must appreciate such readers as a sign of gratitude.

Why reading and sharing matters

Readers! Do not lose the art of sharing

Knowledge increases by sharing but not by saving
