Conclusion

Today is the end of our Marketing of Innovative Products project. It was really pleasant to work in a real situation and to have the possibility to think about the implementation of an entire project. We learned about our mistakes and tried to improve the project through all the different steps. Following our presentation in class and all the feedbacks, this article will talk about our last improvements and conclusion. Some points have been rise as our position regarding our competitors, our strategy and our business strategy.

A question has been rise concerning people desiring to watch shows at home but without VR headsets and with their friend. In order to meet the demand of this target, we thought about creating a new alternative to our business model. Indeed, the customer could be able to subscribe to a lower price to access unlimited contents but with the possibility to watch it in AR and not in VR. The contents could be accessible on TV, phone and computers with a HD quality. The customer would be able to watch his favourite’s shows with friends and have the feeling of sharing a moment with them. This alternative would be a perfect mix between watching the show in live at the real place and watching it alone with the VR headsets.

Sport game represents one of the main interesting market for VR. Thanks to the discussion with the other students about our project, we realized that the power of our suppliers is stronger than what we expected.

Indeed, it is really hard to obtain the exclusivity to broadcast a sport event as all the TV-channels already have them as beIN sport. In order to be able to broadcast this kind of events, we will need to do partnerships with the ones owing the exclusivities.
